- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Hot cooked rice
- 1 pound chicken
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2 cups of chopped onions
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash of paprika
Use a baking dish with medium sized dimensions and pour melted butter in it. Place flour in a plastic bag and add a few pieces of chicken at a time and shake the bag to make the coating. Leave the chicken pieces for a while and then keep them skin side down in the baking dish. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and bake the chicken for 30 minutes. After that, turn all the chicken pieces and bake for another 20 minutes.
While the chicken is in the oven, you can sauté some mushrooms and onions till they get tender. Mix the remaining contents in a bowl. Pull out the chicken and pour the soup mixture and the sautéed onion and mushroom. Sprinkle some paprika on top and reduce the oven heat to 325 degrees.
