No diet is effective without adding ample amount of vitamins and minerals as per the daily requirements of an individual. Vitamins and minerals are the essential elements that our body needed the most in order to function properly. These are the nutrients that perform a number of functions that are related with the maintenance and development of the body. A balanced diet is the one that fulfills the daily requirements of the imperative vitamins and minerals for a healthy person. For unhealthy people the requirement of added vitamins and minerals increases.

To build the human body cells vitamins are the basic components. There is a range of vitamins and each is important for the normal growth. Our body is continuously in working condition from existence till death. It manufactures red blood cells, supplies blood to all organs, and regenerates the skin, bones and tissues in a mute manner. This major rebuilding of the organs and cells requires vitamins to perform these delicate but crucial tasks.
  • Vitamin A, also known as retinoid, is particularly responsible of good eyesight and healthy skin. The deficiency of vitamin A in the body is harmful for eyesight usually affects the night vision or dim light vision.
  • Vitamin B is included with several other sub vitamins and commonly      known as B12. It aids in digestion to maintain particularly digestive health.
  • Vitamin C is a major contributor of overall health issues. It assists in maintaining healthy teeth and gums. It also helps iron to absorb in the body.
  • Vitamin D is one of those essential elements that are not found typically in food items. The morning sunlight is a great source of vitamin D. It helps in developing healthy teeth and strong bones.
  • Vitamin E is one of the most essential vitamins for humans as it has to maintain healthy cells and tissues. It helps in functioning of eyes, lungs, liver, blood, and skin. It’s essential to preventing cancerous cells and cardiovascular issues.
  • Vitamin K has its particular role in preventing Alzheimer’s illness in elderly people. It’s essential for blood clotting in severe bleeding cases as it helps in sealing the wound.
